Rainey Blantern is a designer specializing in bridal/ evening wear , with a special interest in natural fibers and dyes. With multiple years of hands on experience with prominent industry names like Alexandra Grecco and Christian Siriano, Rainey has a strong background honing her skills in design and production.

Raised in Ohio, Rainey Blantern knew at 10 years old that a career in bridal design was her calling. Starting with sewing lessons at age 11, Rainey has continued to actively look for opportunities to learn new skills. Eventually, Rainey enrolled in one of the top- ranking fashion schools in the country, Kent State University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design with minors in Entrepreneurship and Sustainability. She also completed a course at the Fashion Institute of Technology in Natural Fibers and Dyes, and these skills are prominent within every collection she produces.

During her time at Alexandra Grecco, she was given the opportunity to take on and build the sustainability initiatives for the brand. In her first year managing the project, Rainey overhauled all packaging including sourcing recyclable cardboard hangers, new garment bags made 100% from corn-based polylactic acid, shipping boxes made in New York from up to 100% recycled cardboard, shipping tape made from 50% recycled materials, and shipping labels that are fully recyclable. Additional projects Rainey led include collecting and managing all factory and material certifications, material sourcing and educating the design team on various fibers and their environmental imprint, and initiating the B Corp Certification process for the company.

As an emerging creative, Rainey Blantern is always searching for new opportunities and learning experiences.
